Property Set Up Tips
As part of the property set up we will provide you with an inventory list that details the basic items your property will need to be a successful holiday let.
We recommend that you complete a full inventory check and detail the items that you have in the property. This enables the housekeeper to check periodically and inform us of any missing items like broken plates or glasses.
If you would like us to complete an inventory check on your behalf at set up stage we will be happy to arrange this and provide you with a fee subject to the property size.
We offer a full linen sourcing service to all of our managed services customers. You can request our latest price list from the Suffolk Cottage Care team. These are high quality items at extremely competitive prices. Our property team usually carry samples of the stock.
We provide every property with a property information folder that includes a section for guest information, space for fire risk assessments and any other relevant information.
Spares and Replacements
A lockable cupboard or wardrobe that can be accessed by the housekeeper is best practice. This can contain a supply of spare lightbulbs and batteries, with just a small number left out for guests to use in an emergency. A limited supply of your chosen crockery and glasses can be locked in this cupboard in case of accidental damage. There should also be space for spare toilet rolls, kitchen towels and basic cleaning materials.
A touch of luxury is always appreciated and we can supply travel size L'Occitane toiletries and hand soap.
