As part of our service we ensure that guests are given information on finding their property, parking restrictions etc. We are also the point of contact throughout their stay.
Internal Changeover Clean
All housekeepers are interviewed, reference checked, have public liability insurance and are given our checklist together with set up support to ensure they perform a high standard of internal cleaning.
Securing your Property
The housekeeper will check to ensure that all windows and doors are securely closed and, if applicable, the keys have been returned to the keysafe.
We supply a locally sourced competitively priced welcome pack which helps enormously to set a holiday off to a great start. Your chosen welcome pack will be set up by the housekeeper.
As an additional item, we can provide simple ‘how to’ guides for operation of the heating system, television, washing machine etc. We also provide local information for pubs, restaurants and walks. These usually satisfy the VE criteria for guest information.
The housekeeper will replace light bulbs (subject to access restrictions) and will liaise with us when supplies are short or if one of the maintenance team needs to replace bulbs.
We charge a small fee to provide a maintenance book to sit alongside your visitor book. This is used by guests to report minor faults and the housekeeper will check this on changeover. Minor faults are dealt with by the managed services team but if a major fault is picked up we will liaise with you first to decide the course of action.
Additional Cleans/Deep Cleans
We recommend you have a pre-peak and post-peak deep clean. This will be charged at the normal hourly rate and we can give you an estimate beforehand. In addition, we can organise an annual carpet clean and dry cleaning of your curtains and duvets.
We keep a stock of toasters, kettles, hairdryers, etc. If there is a problem and we can’t get an item repaired we can either hire or replace this from our stocks.
We can arrange to store or forward your mail.
Management of Lost Property
We will liaise with guests regarding lost property, including payment for postage where applicable.
